yea, I just looked at it looks like its decaying a bit. Should be just rain over PA.

It is modeled to weaken then become stronger later tonight as the low intensifies. We shall see.

Way too hot and humid the past couple of days for living in an A/C-less dorm and sitting/working in A/C-less environments. Fall, I await ye...

Yea, today was a little warm, especially for walking all the way to campus. The global models suggest there may be a break in the warmth early next week and maybe a cooler shot in the longer range. The MJO looks to become active in the next week or so, with most models predicting a fairly strong phase 1 wave. That could support a trough in the eastern U.S. as the MJO modulates the extra-tropical flow down the road.

We are cruising from Quebec City up the St Lawrence, around Halifax and down to NYC in late Sept.

Gotta start watching trpics soon ... Totally forgot about them when we booked this trip. Oops.

FWIW Cantore said the Almanac is probably close to accurate this winter.

of course because they want to use the whole alphabet on naming storms again... love Cantore but hate when the company influences him
