DarthDoppler
Just got home, looks to be 1.5-2" left in the grass, and 1/3rd of the driveway had a coating on it yet. I'd guesstimate we had 3-3.5" here today. Elevation seems to have been the cutoff point again.... (grass was barely coated in the Lehigh Valley.) NJ_Ken
This is the first chance I have gotten to post all day. This morning I picked up a quick 2" (that is a guess, not an official measurement), mostly on the grass and car tops, but it was starting to stick on sidewalks and even on my (fairly desolate) side street as of 8 am when the snow was still coming down at its heaviest and before the sun started doing its dirty business. After that the intensity lessened slightly and the sun angle became a player so the snow depth never got higher. For much of the rest of the morning and afternoon, I was driving up and back to Phillipsburg, NJ for a meeting so I am not conversant on exactly what was happening down here. I am back in the Cherry Hill area now. Precip is fairly light. When it comes down heavier (still "light" but at slightly greater intensity), it is all snow, and when it is lighter, it is rain-snow mix. Nothing is accumulating at the moment and much of what did accumulate earlier is gone, but the grass is still mostly white. With the sun getting lower now, maybe we can coax one of those heavier snow bands to rotate all the way back this way and get some accumulation going again. Regardless, I am happy with today. After a crappy a winter, it was nice to experience something winter-like, and the memory should get me through til next December when we start all over again. NJ_Ken
Looks like the EC is winning. At least back home, QPF totals at TTN ASOS and the Davis Vantage Pro 2 are both 0.22". Far, far closer to the EC than the NAM, and better than those juicy GFS runs. I happened to drive through your (former) neck of the woods mid-morning and again early this afternoon. No joking, but the stretch between say Lambertville and Ewing (along the river) probably had the least accumulation of any place between Cherry Hill and Phillipsburg (I had to drive up to P-burg for a meeting). Further north was in the midst of a heavier burst of snow while I was up there so the ground was recently whitened, while further south appeared to have picked up a solid 1" to 3" in the initial thump this morning. Ewing and neighbors seemed to get neither the early thump nor the late morning burst of heavier stuff so there was little more than a few hints of white in more shaded areas. Figures they'd find a way to get screwed I was watching the NJDOT webcams and not far to their northeast, there was no snow accumulation at all. ABE reported 0.13" liquid equivalent, so obviously better ratios.

MGorse
A total of 1.5 inches here, which occurred by mid morning. Since then, the snow has been falling at varying intensity (a little rained mixed in at times) but has not accumulated. The snow actually continues to melt away.
