Timing would prob be 4-7.

Really wish we had some decent shear, we'd be in business. But today's threat is looking credible due to the higher cape values sustaining updrafts. That's why we're seeing them too out at 50k/ft. Def gonna help to offset the lackluster shear environment.

Anybody have bigger sized picture showing CAPE in the SEPA/DE area? We have been under solid clear skies here in northern DE since daybreak and we're over 100 at this point. Got to be a lot of juice there.

Even without the sheer I have to think the storms will be pretty decent.

Been awhile since I've seen a afternoon forecast like this:

Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Cloudy and hot, with a high near 99. Southwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
