I don't feel so off with my measurement after your measurement.
tornadojay
Hey guys. It's really tough to measure. Conservatively about 10 inches I guess
snywx
There must be some insane totals over by Monroe & Woodbury right now.. That band didnt move for hours! Out here in Middletown snow has been picking up in intensity in the last 2 hours.. Accumulation of 6.5" so far
snywx
I don't feel so off with my measurement after your measurement. My folks in Highland Mills tell me there is anywhere from 14-16" right now there.. And to think we have another 8 hrs or so of precip.. lol Insane! MattyR
Puking snow in Pleasant Valley. Just a dusting out in front of my building, but the drift on the drivers side of my Subie Forester is 2/3rds of the way to the roof!!
xram
It is absolutely insane here. Snow is falling sideways! True blizzard conditions. Heck of a lot easier to shovel than last Febs snowcane.
IrishRob17
Glad to see you guys towards the east are getting rocked. Im just a bit too far west so far, shades if 2006 when I was just a tad too far north, we'll see if something can rotate through overnight. MattyR
We're going on 5 straight hours of band after band of snow and winds with almost no letting up. Unreal.

TJay
Yeah, I can't believe NYC is getting rocked again. What happened to the storms when we get rocked and they get rain? Thats the way its supposed to be. We are in the age of the super wraped up coastal bomb and we now get leftovers. That graupel crap we had all afternoon was a strong sign this wouldn't be super great for us. I guess I'll pickup about 10' when all is said and done maybe. I have Directv and with all the intense snow these past few hours I have had not one hiccup with my signal.

NY WeatherMom
Good to be back-glad I found you all again. Here's some shots I just took-one of my kids car is buried-and poor Frosty is bowing all the way down to the ground. But you can see how much we've gotten here so far tonight in lower Southern Dutchess.

It's back now.

Logan11
Moderate snow + and 14F here. Finally looks like a snowstorm here. Albany (east side) is getting into the heavy snow band it seems as it pivots west. Dish.
