We’re ignoring the time it tried to give us 6” of snow the Monday before last weeks storm from ~30 hours out or so, but yeah, I’ve generally been impressed.
If by NOVA you mean Fredericksburg instead of Loudoun, I probably agree. HRRR has kinda backed off for DC proper, Stafford/Dale City/SE MD seem to be the spots to be.
Yeah, I meh’d it earlier, but there was some standing water in the roads in my corner of Arlington while I was driving to get the traditional Christmas Eve Dominoes pizza feast. Decently wet out there.
Winchester has flipped to snow by 06z on Christmas Day, verbatim. Front still running through.
