  1. Still hanging around 34 on my nearest station, but sure I won’t be too far behind you.
  2. Shockingly solid snow in DC too. Patio furniture caving.
  3. Saying this mostly to myself... anything before 4pm is a bonus. Not expecting of this that falls before 4pm to stick.
  4. Pretty legit -SN near Union Station. Visibility took a modest dive.
  5. It’s days like today I’m very thankful for the rare view of grass (albeit artificial) in DC. Might prevent me from going insane when North Cap never caves
  6. That's about where I'm at in downtown too. Good luck to us! May the temps fall precipitously.
  7. Wow! A win for some of the very aggressive modeling. Think that bodes well for the GFS' jackpot zone today, and hopefully for the rest of us too.
  8. That was the best and worst thing about living in Cville... never knowing what was gonna happen. Radar would show nada and it would snow for two hours longer. They need to stick a radar dish up on Afton... tear up the abandoned hotel (but leave room for the birders!)
  9. It's fine for them to hedge low... they are big snow depth map guys. Nothing they say changes the outcome. We're all weenies.
  10. yeah it's not a rug pull in the slightest - just @Ji feeding the flames
  11. Final EURO run before flakes start around DC - good luck everyone!
  12. Wanted to post the kuchie but it’s awful - rates must be like 5:1? So here’s the 10:1 instead. Looking at temps I can’t possibly understand why they are so low
  13. We get smacked pretty good first - 4-6" before mixy to rain?
  14. Both but I’d take either - usually when it snowed I’d take like a 10 mile walk around Grounds, up O’Hill, through the woods… but don’t feel the need to do all that!
  15. Rotunda pics!! Counting on you.
  16. This is total snow on the 3k by 4pm - and quite frankly unless your temps are good right now I wouldn't expect this to stick (or if you are in the blues where they have rates)... i assume this part of the storm is a wash in dc til at least 5. Won't care if I've got 0" on the ground til 6pm or so then i'll go insane
  17. It's not really supposed to do anything notable for NOVA/DC until like 4pm, if that. Real accumulations are after 7pm. No panic yet.
  18. Snowing and sticking in Harrisonburg, per family. I think Harrisonburg & Cville are in great spots today. Time to go back to school!
  19. Some nice pics from a colleague with snow in Richmond. Congrats to the folks down south!
  20. Still running on TT but looks like it'll take the metros over 5" so I'm willing to take that
