  1. Back to being a snow globe in DC. Need to downscale some pics but nice jebwalk. Now to defrost and see if I can WFH the rest of the day…
  2. Nice fat flakes falling in DC. Super gorgeous.
  3. LWX killed the WWAs… I’d like to think the districts consult with LWX and they debbed it overnight. Seems like a sketchy call as radar looks now.
  4. Can you blow that band a little further north? Maybe just turn on a fan?
  5. DC looks kinda in the screw zone for the moment unless that band can make it north. Was a little worried about being between bands yesterday. Got my dusting so I’m mostly content but would like to squeeze out 0.5”
  6. Dell woods were another spot I always hit up. Most I did in a night there was 10mi of walking. Snowtunda is iconic though - shame on you
  7. Hoping the banding down in Culpeper has the strength to make it north. We’ll see - I’m a little skeptical.
  8. Everything nice and dusted in DC. Only road I can see is fine, which makes sense. Just want to be able to slant stick something on the balcony
  9. Radar looks to be lighting up a bit. Let’s see what we can do for a few hours.
  10. Flurries in DC. Looks like our only window to really accumulate is 7-10 so might go back to bed for a bit.
  11. Tasty for you and me even without the bump. Hope we aren’t getting strung along
  12. One more jump and DC jack but idk if I should be greedy
  13. With all the love I have for the NWS I can't get with the high-end snow map. Uniquely terrible - minus for weenie entertainment - and if the purpose is to inform EMS/other partners about a "realistic" worse case scenario they fail miserably. The computer generated 8-12" corridors and the water-driven enhancement makes no sense.
  14. The inevitable northern band that leave subsidence behind and makes DC the worst spot to be will be pretty funny. But this is a good run!
  15. I think there is a pretty solid consensus right now that DC is about the northern extent of an inch. Further south - and you don't have to go too much further south - 1-3" seems right down to RIC. A casual 50mi shift north would help many of us, but some minor accumulations would be sweet.
  16. Anecdotally I didn’t notice any vast disparity between Cville modeled totals and reality. All I learned is that they really need a new radar there and that it’s a mini-supercell alley just to the north. Go get a snowy Rotunda pic and hike the O Hill trails. Godspeed - think ur good for 1-2”
  17. 6z EUROs were slightly improved. Not calling this one until it’s Friday morning and the precip is stuck in Fredericksburg. We’ve seen crazier north shifts
  18. I’d love more but this is alright. Hopefully we’re finding the floor.
