I get it. Unless it’s a situation where there’s a last minute model bust, I’m usually happy with a snowfall, whatever it is, in the moment. The subjective grading on the season as a whole is another story.

I want numbers on the board. I don’t care what they are. In my location if I need a double digit snowfall to be excited I might as well move on to February.

We've had rough years, but I don't recall one where there was actual discussion on how it may not snow again. That's a bit hyperbolic from me, but if we saw a multi-year canonical Nino that wasn't nuclear we're likely having a much different discussion IMO.

That’s crazy, but at least they put up 14” that month. We’d see dancing in the streets here with a double digit month at this rate. I’d love to experience that kind of cold someday.
