  1. Ice in E CT, snow in W CT. Cloudy here. Congrats everyone on something interesting. 32/26
  2. Almost certainly porked here, but it’s interesting from a meteorological standpoint. Psychologically, we also need a win.
  3. No one, and I mean not a single solitary soul, wants that. If there can be a place least deserving of snow it is Taunton, MA, USA. I look forward to seeing them post pics of warning level powder in a few days.
  4. It’s hard for me to take anything seriously until it’s an imminent threat, but I know I’m probably in the minority on that. No shot taken at anyone here.
  5. At some point you need some kind of agreement between the ops and ensembles. I’m not saying they need to show and lock in D7, 8, 9, 10 events, but the ensembles have led us into the abyss with false hope.
  6. Now that’s the kind of storm I dream of. SN+ 3/3 WC -20
  7. Very true. We shoveled a lot of potential in December, and had things go to crap in the medium range in January—in addition to the well modeled torch lol. I do agree that we’ll turn the corner, maybe even in a big way. But it’s time for production. Period.
  8. Can’t imagine life without her…incessant complaining about snow
  9. Nothing nearly as dramatic, but I first started chasing during a period of uncertainty in my life in DC. Went to Portland for a blizzard, and just fell in love with the peace and awe that came with going to experience high end wx events. It has evolved a lot for me since then, but chasing is part of my DNA now. So much so that my wife (who hates wx) has come along a couple times to support. There’s just nothing like it, as dangerous as it can be sometimes.
  10. That’s incredible. Absolutely wild and extraordinarily dangerous.
  11. I do kind of miss the ole sickle and padded rooms. Those were good times.
