  1. I’m sure they really appreciate it. 4327F0D7-E876-4D7F-AD35-19D01DA2C2EB.webp
  2. Another couple of hours Sunday that should be about it
  3. 4.1” for the event so far. Some backend snows will move thru from eastern Pa. in the next few hours. Hope we can get 5” out of the event.
  4. Latest radar trends is looking like fringe city up this way. 0.5” OTG
  5. The last few runs of the HRRR is showing the the low in the south further north . The HP to our north has moved west to being directly north of NYC at the US/ Canadian border. could possibly help with the strength with the suppression?
  6. Yea it is by a little, I would go with the NAM from today’s 18z runs and forward.
  7. General model consensus. Watches were posted up with basically 48 hours to start time.
  8. That’s it, I’m moving to Poughkeepsie.
  9. Hopefully the wife is ok. I also worked on pushing some snow back in spots and worked on the gutters with the warm weather today.
  10. 28/28 here with the cloud deck lowering. Occasional freezing mist.
  11. Roads in my area aren’t bad now as they are being treated. When the precipitation increases later it will wash off the salt and with the cold ground temps along with air temps in the upper 20’s that’s not a good recipe for travel later, especially bridges and overpasses.
  12. Currently 26/22 The CAD could be tough to scour out in the valleys in the hilly areas inland.
  13. agree, also a lot of players on the field in this active pattern. Nothing is a lock in this period of time. It could come down to now casting for Thursday.
  14. If the temps were in the lower to mid 20’s and held steady it would make a great factor in ice accumulation. Point and click forecast for me is a high of 28 tomorrow and temps rising slightly Monday night into Tuesday.
  15. They do have a history of being conservative at times. In their defense, our forecast area has such a variable and challenging forecast by location. I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes.
