  1. Gusty when the rain came through. Must have missed the big gusts here in Newton.
  2. Lower level clouds were screaming left to right and the higher level ones were moving from lower left to upper right not as quick. So pretty good shear?
  3. Sun is peeking out here too.
  4. Really firing in western MA. Wonder what the gusts are under those little training cells.
  5. That 10-ish story building in the one of the videos was just vaporized...
  6. Yeah, not quite full sun in Newton, MA, but getting shadows off the trees.
  7. Watches upgraded to Warnings for interior SNE. *edit to include more text*
  8. Seems to be. Unless something weird is going on.
  9. That storm on 128 is just missing me to my west...
  10. So, unbeknownst to me, where I parked my car yesterday along a curb can have flooding issues. The interior floor of the passenger side is soaked and there was a puddle under the seat. The windows and doors were closed. Water must have gotten above the frame rails and seeped in through the door seams.
  11. Thunder all afternoon from those training storms south of me.
  12. Yeah, rumbling pretty good here in Newtonville. Just rain and thunder really. No hail and only a little breezy.
  13. Huh... if a tornado does spin up, I wonder when the last time SNE had snow and a tornado in the same month?
  14. Peas accumulating on the deck in Newtonville.
  15. This was looking NE from Newtonville at roughly 4:00pm. I looked at my radar app and it appeared there was a little squall of some sort off of Lynn at the time.
  16. (I'd cross-quote to the other thread, but not sure how to.) Cripes... Our bill for two adults and a hungry kindergartner is about $400 a week. Can't imagine how much yours is...
  17. Nothing is more fun than standing in line at Wegmans and having it snowing...
  18. I vaguely remember that morning in '77. I'm sure there are photos at my parents house of snow covered flowers. I was a year younger then than my daughter is now and she just had her first decent mid-April event. Love to be able to get her a May one too considering the way the rest of this spring has gone...
  19. If this were to pan out, would the total snowfall from April alone equal the amount that had fallen the entire winter somewhere?
  20. Seems to be 1/2 S in Newtonville. Not sticking to paved surfaces though, but pretty to look at as it's sticking to everything else.
  21. Highest sustained winds so far in Newtonville. I am not great at estimating strength, so I'm not going to try. Eversource shows small outages all around. Let's hope it stays that way.
