  1. Made a last minute decision due to the weather to meet up with parents in Lyndonville. Left Newtonville around 7:00, ran into the traffic on 93 by the tolls, then decided to take 89 to 91 to avoid the Notch. Fairly quiet drive actually with a bit of a slow down to get onto 91 and the offramp into Lyndonville was backed onto the highway. Otherwise made good time and got here around noon. Now hanging out in a hotel parking lot with my parents and a great view of the sky.
  2. Was not expecting to wake up with a slushy coating on all surfaces his morning. 35.2*
  3. More sleet than rain when the heavier echoes roll through. Still 39.4* though.
  4. Wind picking up some with a little more sleet seemingly mixed in.
  5. After seeing the reports, I had to check myself here in Needham. There are a few pellets mixed in.
  6. Fun little squall in Newtonville. S with the sun poking through.
  7. Snowing in Newtonville. Wonder if we'll get more tonight than we did on Tuesday?
  8. Spoke too soon? Ripping big flakes. Almost S+ and trying to accumulate on grassy surfaces at least. Just wish it wasn't still 35.4*.
  9. at 37* in Newtonville. Made the right call to keep the schools open here today. (granted, if we just hadn't had a 2 week unscheduled vacation, they most likely would have cancelled along with everyone else around Boston...)
  10. GFS/HRRR/NAM/ etc: "I want a hamburger... no, a cheeseburger. I want a hot dog. I want a milkshake..." Ukie/EURO: You'll get nothing, and like it.
  11. All snow, accumulating lightly on non-paved surfaces, but still mostly white rain. Temp down slightly to 35.4.
  12. A true mixed bag in Newtonville. Maybe a flake or 2, but mostly rain and skeet. Not at home, but the car thermo says 36*.
  13. Wasn't paying attention to outside tonight. Light snow, somewhat accumulating on paved surfaces. 33.5*
  14. Guessing a 1/2" of fluff, but stuck to everything. Was at a party in Brookline and driving back was a little slippery, but nothing too bad.
