  1. Flash being discontinued on most (all?) browsers as of January 1st.
  2. Yeah, surprised how well the pack held up today. Still lots of cover around. Although the outdoor rink in Brookline was puddle-like when we took our daughter skating. Couple kids in short-sleeves too.
  3. Unexpected coating on all surfaces this afternoon. Thought for sure it would be just sprinkles.
  4. Completely unscientific top of car/patio table measurements where I am in Newtonville is roughly 11". S-/S snow still falling.
  5. Eyeballing what I have here so far, that'll give me 16-18" total, so yes, please!
  6. Only bummer about this is we have a 2020 "snow day" today. Our daughter is going to be looking out the window all day asking when we can go play.
  7. Back deck photo. Barely a coating at midnight.
  8. Steady snow. Nice coating on all surfaces in Newtonville.
  9. Not very often when most of the map is a single color.
  10. This is true, but let's see how tomorrow goes. I all my daughter wants to do is go play rather than being on zoom all day, then bring them back next year. But yes, for this year, lets not burn them so we can end this crazy year as early as possible.
  11. Darn... I thought I was able to use a long-time forum meme. Oh well.
  12. Because they know Winthrop won't get over 10 with this set-up and that will end up being the official number?
  13. Under a decent band in Newtonville, but it's basically white rain.
  14. Had to run up to Lincoln, MA. Snowing and everything is coated.
  15. If only we had a better airmass to start. Pouring down rain and 40* in Newtonville.
  16. I'm terrible at guessing gust mph, but know when it sounds impressive, it's pretty quick.
  17. Getting breezy out there. Going to be fun walking the kid home from school later...
  18. Sticking to everything but paved surfaces, although it's trying to in "shady" spots...
  19. Snowing in Newtonville at about 35* or so. Sticking a little bit to the railing outside my window.
  20. Yeah, can't wait for tonight. Will be sure to go out and enjoy it.
  21. On the Cape this week. Didn't mean too, but we chased the big storm down 24 and onto 495. Had tree debris between Bridgewater and Carver in places and it was a good thing we didn't need to stop at the rest area on 24 as the power was out there. Absolutely pouring down rain and some good wind in places all the way down 495 and across the bridge. Finally got ahead of it just before we got to Falmouth only to have it blow over us at the house we're at. Added an extra hour to the drive, but at least we got here and it didn't blow something onto the highway.
  22. Clouds are still ripping overhead. Not much mixing going on though. Occasional 30mph gust, but nothing too outrageous.
