  1. GFS wants to keep adding to the w.e. in NNE. At some point this spring you have to figure at least minor flooding on the rivers.
  2. I'm sure we do, there something strangely familiar...
  3. Yeah, nobody could have predicted Kevin getting 8"+ and Savoy MA getting 3". Wild stuff.
  4. Wow, that's nuts! Lol. Definitely more a CT/RI phenomenon this storm. We drove up to over 1500' in Colrain and beyond MPM's former residence and there was maybe 2" of snow.
  5. I'm putting away the snow blower tomorrow. We done.
  6. I hate missing snow but getting very little QPF yesterday/overnight and now windy and partly sunny has started drying things out nicely. Maybe start doing some clean-up on the snowless side of the yard tomorrow.
  7. Yeah, there were accumulations in any direction 10 miles away from the valley. It's interesting because it's not really about elevation since many low lying areas in other parts of SNE got accumulating snow
  8. Nothing but a dusting here, not sure about higher elevations.
  9. Franklin Co an N ORH Co right up through Monafs and into C NH was a huge dry slot today. I didn't even break .25" of rain.
  10. Poor Mitch, for 2 days folks have been hyping a crush job for him and now Lucy has the ball.
  11. Wow. Only .25" up here to your North. I was just thinking how models really over estimated QPF here.
  12. I think it was more about people being excited that there was a potentially better antecedent cold air mass if a storm did materialize.
  13. Yup, light rain all day so far here. Some pellets mixed in earlier.
  14. If that verifies there will be a lot of shocked people out there, including some on air mets.
  15. It seems like there may be a few lucky locations in SNE but honestly the mesos lead me to believe it will not be widespread.
  16. Cold and dry is all the rage these days. Embrace.
  17. I am going to sell on higher amounts anywhere in SNE until we see how much this thing cranks up and where it tracks.
  18. This will be interesting, I may end up being a half hour hike to where it's accumulating. Literally into the back yard and then walk up the hill.
  19. I am on the north side of town close to the Shelburne/Colrain line. My elevation is around 400 feet or so. My neighborhood is part of the Green River Valley, that is why I radiate so well and retain snow for so long but it doesn't really help me in elevation events.
  20. Man, Greenfield is going to be a now cast. I can see just wet flakes here or a few inches of slop.
  21. This time of year if we are going to be BN it may as well snow because it sucks burning heating oil for cold bluebird days on end. Although cold and dry might be a good excuse for a sick day from work to go skiing.
  22. I could see pouring rain and cat paws in North Adams while 10 minutes away Savoy is getting plastered.
