    No question that is a lion. I know a retired DCR officer from Greenfield who told me the state knew of at least 2 different Catamounts in the Charlemont/Savoy area of W MA but he said the state nor feds would ever admit to it. That was probably 8 or 9 years ago I had that conversation.

    When is that from? That sure as hell ain't no Bobcat or Lynx. I probably know a dozen people in W MA and S VT that swear they have seen a Catamount.

    Yes, we were driving up I-91 N. I just assumed it was lightning but it was bright.

    74/68 at 11:30 pm. Swampy.

    We had over .50” up in Greenfield. Most of that came in downpours between 4 PM - 7 PM.

    Shredded mess, maybe isolated convection tomorrow. I am happy not to have hours of soaking rain.

    Swampy but tolerable day. Clouds kept us from ever getting above 84F 74/72. Finally had to put the air-conditioning on around 5 PM.

    All of the action was north and east of here but a soaking shower for the garden has been nice.
