  1. To be fair, modeled 2m temps were always horrible. In SNE it was narrow bands of ideal conditions for snow in an otherwise hostile setup.
  2. Yup. Storm was potent but probably more disappointed weenies than elated weenies. Pretty good winds though, my yard is already drying out. 34/27 and gusty.
  3. Never underestimate a lousy antecedent air mass is the lesson.
  4. Congrats to all of those who got some decent accumulation. This ended up being a much narrower band of good snows then most models were presenting last night. Some of the meso models nailed the lack of snow out this way.
  5. I know, but this was not an easy forecast given the complete disaster air mass that was in place.
  6. 36/34 -RA. Seems to be winding down. I did not see a single flake of snow. Wednesday afternoon snow squall at least coated the ground here.
  7. That 2.8” in the Berkshires must be at Savoy State Park 2000’. My friend in Heath is at 1100’ and she has slushy inch.
  8. I jinxed this area last night by saying if we were getting less than 4 inches I’d rather just have nothing.
  9. Ha, you would not have been pleased at your old location on the hill in Shelburne. Only a coating a slushy half inch there.
  10. Definitely, the radar says it all. Nine out of 10 times the Hilltowns would be snowing with this setup but the air mass is so marginal you need to be parked under a death band to be getting a flip to snow.
  11. Just got off the phone with my buddy up at Berkshire East and he said all rain there right now. I guess elevation not as much of a factor out this way.
  12. Well, I am under a winter storm warning and might not see a single flake. 34° moderate rain.
