    Wow, nice! after whining it finally started snowing here. Warms my heart to see my boy and his buddy playing on the snow piles with snow gently falling!

    For anybody who doesn’t know where Greenfield is, it’s that little section of NW MA where it is not snowing.

    At least that area can get lucky and avoid the stupid high temperatures and dews. The further north you are the better.

    I generally won’t make any travel ski plans before MLK day. I am just so used to this drill.

    Never forget the 10 to 1 cutter/coastal rule we mentioned yesterday. Coastal storms have 100 mile window of good snow potential cutters have 1000+ mile window for warm rain potential.

    Should I go out on a limb and call the pre-Presidents weekend cutter next? That’s usually a pretty good lock too.

    Some of us called the Christmas cutter back in October! It is so f’n amazing how reliable it has become.

    Great, maybe we can dry slot and enjoy the warm breeze.

    You basically have 100 mile window for good snows and 1000 mile window for warm rain.
