  1. From Phin's area up through Sugarloaf are going to get smoked.
  2. At least the heavier rain will slow the accretion on power lines and branches. You should flip to sleet soon.
  3. It's not moving too fast, I've been stuck at 35/33 for hours.
  4. Wow, that looks like some impressive rates. You're going to do great up there!
  5. Yeah, Greenfield is in between the Boston and Albany beams so not always completely accurate.
  6. If we could push that RAP snow gradient 5 miles from your house it would be worth your sig worthy comments.
  7. Usually goes the other way. FZRA is almost always overdone on the models.
  8. 35/33 here, Greenfield never got out of the 30's today. Waiting on that cold air drain down the valley, should be an icy morning.
  9. They get knocked down but they’ll get up again.
  10. I’m only at 37/34 at the house and it’s melting, I can’t imagine dew points in the 40s. definitely a few degrees warmer down in town and it was 5° warmer across the river in Turners Falls when I was there.
  11. Oh I’m quite familiar. I have the entire Pink Floyd catalog on original vinyl.
  12. 40° light rain. I hate this type of weather in the winter.
  13. Except that song is not actually on that album.
  14. That still leaves hours of precipitation to go so should be a fun morning.
  15. Some of the high water markers around the valley are insane, 6-8’ above the road. Apparently Northern New Hampshire and Vermont had back to back huge rainers that triggered the flood. Well over a foot of rain over a few days. I never realized how far north to south the destruction was.
  16. 5” of sleet would be insane, driving on secondary roads would be treacherous at best. Misery to clean up, snow blower won’t like it but can’t really let it sit and freeze on the driveway.
  17. I was in a book store in Northampton tonight and had to buy this when I saw it. Tons of old pictures, and great history. Hopefully we don’t ever have a repeat.
