  1. Just flipped to cat paws. Unfortunately looks like precipitation has already stopped out in the Berkshires. Hopefully can score an inch or two tomorrow. In the morning I'll be explaining to the kid why school is canceled and there's no snow. "Don't worry about it, put your boots on and go play in the mud!"
  2. I mean, I'm on the northern fringe of Greenfield and it's definitely rain with a few pellets mixed in. I know, because I'm stepping outside every 10 minutes and annoying my wife and the dog.
  3. That's not completely accurate. It's all rain here well N of the R/S line depicted there.
  4. Pouring rain in this band. 32.5/29 Maybe sleet and snow at elevation?
  5. WTF? Half of the school districts in the county have already canceled for tomorrow.
  6. Yeah, as soon as the week returns move through it instantly flipped to sleet then drizzle.
  7. Well, a fresh young liver will do that for you.
  8. The Southern parts of that map will bust, hopefully snow for folks further North, ski country needs snow.
  9. Yeah, it went from pounding big flakes to sleet then drizzle in short order. It's already sleet and drizzle as far N as Putney VT where my buddy lives.
  10. You are far enough N that you might get a decent thump of snow from first round? It only started precipitating here at 2pm and we went sleet->snow->drizzle in under 3 hours with radar returns already lightening. 33/29 -RA now. Per my friends in S VT and obviously Mitch there was not much snow, even at elevation.
  11. Uhg, 33° rain after less than .5” snow. hope folks up north do OK but plenty of bust potential with forecast accumulations. Back edge or round one already racing in.
  12. Wishful thinking. Yup, just like that, as soon as the precip lightens up at all it flips back to sleet. You can already see the back edge of round one racing East.
  13. Hopefully can grab a few inches from round one. 33/28 and looks like the bright banding is washing out coming East of the Berkshires so maybe we pound snow for a while. The cutoff is pretty extreme, friend in Deerfield says it's still a lot of sleet mixing in there and he's only 10mi South of me.
  14. If this keeps up I'll be calling the plow guy tomorrow morning. Snow blower is down and I'm not shoveling this.
  15. Friend of mine at Sunset Lake said it was pelting sleet about an hour ago. As I said above, pounding snow here at the moment.
  16. Incredible gradient right now. Sleet in downtown Greenfield at about 200’ elevation and mostly snow at my house 4mi north at 400’ elevation. already decent coating. 33/29
  17. Absolute scalp fest right now. Pelting sleet with occasional flakes mixed in.
