Driveway is wrecked, luckily it’s going to warm up tomorrow. What do you do when you get these inch of glop storms that quickly freeze?
I just keep buckets of sand around. It’s messy but effective.
.75” at home, about .50” in town.
Slop, can’t snow blow it and refuse to shovel it so I guess I let the driveway freeze tonight. The frozen lumps should provide some traction at least.
Moderate snow right now in Greenfield. Finally sticking again. Be curious to see what it’s like when I get back to the house which is about 100 feet higher than downtown.
Be curious to see what the analog correlations are with crappy winters in New England and disaster winters like they are having in European Alps right now.
Probably won’t be a whole lot here but at least everything is whitened up and it looks wintry. Roads are a little bit greasy so surface temps must be freezing. Car thermo says 34°. -SN
We had a pretty good burst of moderate with potato chip size flakes. Still steady light snow now. Only a coating in town but my wife says about a half inch at the house.
I just drove up through Colrain to Pine Hill Orchards (1000’) and it was maybe a sloppy 1” but very light precipitation.
I think this one is going to end up being congrats Worcester county.
All snow now but very light precipitation. Unless the radar fills back in this is not going to get much done. My coworker says about an inch of snow at 800’ up in Shelburne.
Even your original pit hasn’t done too well this winter. After the big storm a few weeks ago your old hood had 6” of snow while just to the west in Heath it was 18”
