    I feel like December can be pretty meaningless in terms of how good snow winter we have. However, I think December is vital in terms of how good/safe of a pond ice winter we have in SNE.

    28/27 with full sun and no wind. Not too bad out today. We currently have about 20 robins in our backyard pecking at the ground. I’ve never seen anything like it. It must be a group that migrated down from the north?

    According to today's Boston Globe the death toll is up to 27 in New York and 48 nationally. The NY count is expected to rise. Crazy.

    Same here 8.5F up to 12F now. Ponds are probably ready for skating and fishing.

    Yikes but I can’t see how it doesn’t end up even higher than that. I would assume hundreds of people were stranded and some didn’t make good choices.
