  1. It will be fun to be a school admin for this storm. Parents will be sending some colorful emails, when school is canceled and they wake up to bare ground and pouring rain.
  2. That's a little concerning because it does show the Greenfield-Brattleboro shadow screw zone. Along with the Keene, N Adams, Pittsfield, Bennington and Albany shadow screw zones.
  3. I think models were overdoing the shadow effect but obviously surface temps still a big issue. The CRV needs this to absolutely go to town with rates. Nowcast all the way I think.
  4. No matter how their map changes elsewhere, BOX has had Greenfield pinned at 6-8” for three days now. With current modeling I’m thinking probably closer to 10” here. I’ll buy gas and test the generator this afternoon.
  5. What are you planning? Whether you should have single IPA or double IPA?
  6. Non-topography based, region wide dumps in SNE, have been few and far between lately.
  7. Getting towards it's range so can't discount entirely since modeling is all over the place.
  8. NAM might actually miss N ORH Co. with the best deformation bands.
  9. He'll learn. Greenfield does ok but honestly, anybody under 500' between Hartford and Brattleboro needs to always trim expectations.
  10. I don't think anybody in the CRV between Hartford and Northampton is ever surprised by that.
  11. I just want to see double digits, couldn’t care less about where the JP zone is because I know it’s not in Greenfield.
  12. I’m still up in the air about Greenfield. I could see last week’s 7.5” actually being a bigger snow here than this one but I can also see how we could get 10-12”. Don’t love the valley shadow effect here. I may be a 10 minute drive from 2x what mby gets.
  13. This storm is still a day away from realistic accumulation goalposts. It may trend weaker and East.
  14. Winter storm watch here yet no accumulation forecast for Greenfield.
