Media Delaware County picked up .50" of rain overnight some light drizzle mist falling still 69f

There has to be something wrong with my weather station here in Media Delaware County. I had a dewpoint of 61 now it's 60. There cannot be that much a of a difference?

We got it all right. 0.67" 40-45 mph winds easy and lightning.

Not a dam thing here in Media. It is really really dry down here in Delaware County. Here is my consolation prize I can see the anvil from the storm to our north in Bucks County. Sun has been out all day and is out full blast as we speak 87f humidity 50%

So, that would be August 28th chances are during that date over the past 25 years there has been a major hurricane in the Atlantic somewhere. I mean August 25th, 2005, there was Katrina just to name a few.

Water restrictions are already posted for areas around Trenton. This is a very dusty pattern and the hope of a tropical storm of any sort is very LOW zero support in this pattern for that unfortunately.

This reminds me of July 1988 that was pretty dry too.

I am looking at the water vapor map over the past 4 hours and now the visible satellite looks like there could be a weak system in the eastern Turks and Caicos Islands. Looks like it is right under a high-pressure system as all air is evacuating in all sectors. Looks like a bit of southerly shear and a fair amount of dry air to its north and northwest, but it appears the dry air is lifting northeaster ward. Guess this could be something to keep an eye on. The best part is how they say how hot and humid it is. Just an FYI the humidity in Media, Delaware County was in the 22% to 33% range hardly humid it's like a desert out there.

Media 40 rain with sleet mixed in again I’m very surprised

Media moderate to heavy wind swept snow 31 dewpoint 30 winds NNE 20-40 all surfaces caved trees loading up

Media all snow mainly still a little sleet now light though a few fatties glide through every once in a while 32 dewpoint 31 starting to accumulate on grass

Media Delaware County temp drop 70 to 56 in 12 minutes winds 45-55 easy lots and lots of power flashes no lighting brief downpour maybe lasted 7 minutes. Winds still busy out of the NW 20-40 mph. The power flickered once.

Looks to me we will have minimal problems for the following reason in Delaware County: 1. heavy rates not allowing for ice accretion. 2. relative warmth from past days. 3. temps think needed to get lower we are currently at 29 it was 28. 4. temps will slowly rise overnight. 5. Warm air aloft in heavier rates will eventually mix down to the surface further aiding in temp rises.
