  1. Made it up to 56.4 degrees before the rain moved in a bit over an hour ago, down to 51.5 degrees currently. Almost a tenth in the gauge.
  2. LOL, well my average for that date is 64/38 for a 51 normal, a -18 to -19 WOULD be right chilly.
  3. Low of 38.8 here about 4 am, temp has risen in last couple hours, currently 40.3/36.7.
  4. Seeing a few flakes falling at 'The Shoe in last 5-10 minutes Snowshoe Mountain Boathouse Webcam in West Virginia - Resort Cams Snowshoe Mountain Skidder Slope Webcam - Resort Cams
  5. And I'll add this here, didn't see that a thread had been opened. This is from yesterday's trip into WV, this is on Rt 150 (Highland Scenic Hwy) just south of where it crosses Williams river, about 3600-3700 elevation.
  6. We are headed to central TX for the April one. Was just SE of Maryville TN for the last one, awesome event!
  7. Took off for Gaudineer Knob and Scenic Area (about 4500 elevation) yesterday up thru Monterey and then back down the Highland Scenic Hwy. Trees were absolutely stunning in places. Above 4K is slightly past peak, 3K to 4K IS peak and below 3K is about a week away. Just a FYI in case anyone thinking of heading that way.
  8. Didn't quite make it into 30's, low was 40.8 degrees. Didn't break 60 yesterday with a 59.8 high. Breezy.
  9. Nice even 0.50 in the gauge this morning! Front must be thru here, NW breezes, pressure is rising and partly cloudy skies now. 52.6/50.0 currently at 7:40 am.

  11. This is the cloudiest 'mostly sunny' I've seen in a while...
  12. That is a yep on the fog this morning....
  13. Absolutely glorious day out there! Hardly a cloud in the sky now and 73.1/57.3 at 1:40 pm.

  17. LOL, well, after we had a partly cloudy day and more sunshine than last 8 or so days combined it is now raining again, on a 10% chance from both NWS and TWC.... glad I picked up a couple lottery tickets.
  18. HEY! I see this large bright white-yellow light thing in the sky that just popped out of the clouds! Wow, except for about a 45 minute stretch late yesterday afternoon of in and out sun, this is the most sunshine in about a week!
  19. So, the sun has ALMOST broken thru the cloud cover at 3 pm, first 'brightness' in several days.
  20. 53.9/51.0 and STILL socked in the low clouds here... maybe later this afternoon we will get to see the sun again. On the plus side all the grass I planted in the new area I extended the yard a bit is up and thriving.
  21. Ran mine for the same time period, amazing that both PRISM and NOAA VERY much underestimate my precip from June forward...
  22. I'll GLADLY take a repeat of 86-87 winter, especially Jan and Feb.
