    Records fall all over the place. HATE the heat in winter, but if we gonna have it might as well make it special. I set a new high with 64.5 degrees (old 61.3 from 2013) and warm minimum was obliterated at 51.2 degrees (old 40 from 1995). Two rounds of storms rolled thru overnight, but the strongest wind I recorded was 35 mph. I saw a 54 mph gust up at the airport though (3700 elevation).

    I'm gonna go WAY out on a limb here and say I'll be setting one, maybe two records when I report tomorrow at 7 am. My point and click from NWS Blacksburg is high 63, low 51. I started the day at 54.7, the record warm minimum for day is 40 from 1995. Record high is 61.3 from 2013, that MAY fall, the other is a definite lol. My records go back to October 1979.

    Nothing 'winter-like' this am with mid 50's and drizzle. Temps were in 30's/40's all day yesterday, then started climbing after nightfall to the current 54.7.....

    Well, well, well. Flakes falling again. Nice little band drifting thru from the due north on the radar. ZERO info in the forecast about snow today, sunny and 42 is all it says lol!

    Eyeballing that the 30 foot line is close, and matches my numbers over the years. Going season to season (10/10-4/30) I have 301.8 inches, a 30.2 average. Doing calendar years I have 272.1 inches or 27.2 average.
