  1. I am here now BC! It is pretty awesome. Drove up from Denver (enough snow on the ground to call it white) and started the climb up yesterday on 70. Got stopped just before the Bakerfield exit for 'snow mitigation', firing the avalanche cannons. Currently it is 4 degrees with a solid 2 feet on the ground here in Dillon with the son, who said the past 3 days were 'epic' in his words.
  2. Just broke over 32 here, 32.5/31.7. A good .1-.2 of ice, but roads aren't that bad, mostly bridges.
  3. Ice, ice, baby..... quite slick out there this am!! Freezing rain falling and 30.2/29.0.
  4. A 0.5 here. Little less than I expected, but gets me on the board.
  5. Wait, so you're NOT on 'the payroll'??
  6. At my high for the day, 42.4 degrees. Spent most of the day with rain and light rain and 33-37 degrees.
  7. So you are saying it'll looking something like this.... IAD: 2.8 BWI: 2.2 RIC: 1.8 DCA 0.0
  8. Personally, a nice 1-3/2-4 across majority of the forum would be nice........
  9. Doing the '33 and rain' game here....
  10. So, with the 'T' this morning I am batting .250 over the last 40 years for snow falling from the sky on this date. Largest was 5.0 in 2003, 4 were T's, rest were between .5 and 4.0 inches and averages out to 0.4 over that time. I'll have to do a bit more digging to see if I have a greater 'batting average' for a date in Dec.
  11. He is up in the Rockies in Colorado. So they are used to a LOT of snow.
  12. I like when they issue winter weather advisories for 5-8 inches where my son lives........
  13. I find them much more pleasing to the ears and eyes than that 'ol Scorched and Torched group.
  14. Snowed enough after midnight to cover the ground to whiteness, first time this year and the 4th or 5th time I recorded a T from snow falling from the sky. Least it isn't goose eggs. Winds have been absolutely brutal past two weeks, many 40-50 mph gusts and steady 20-30 mph days.
  15. WHAT IS THAT LARGE YELLOWISH DISC IN THE SKY!?!? RUN!! RUN!! RUN!! We are ruined! First sun in MANY days here it seems.
  16. Nice, but need to pull that inner tube and funnel my CoCoRaHS friend!
  17. Just cloudy here now, had some flurries earlier this am. 33.4/30.2
