Yea by tomorrow or 18z it’ll come back to reality. Though if the h7 fronto is strong someone on NJ will get 2’+
-
Rgem just scares me. lol I need 12+ that’s my goal with this one. Probably going to turn off the models at 12z though and just enjoy whatever happens.
-
I felt this way before the president day 2003 storm. Kept thinking the rug pull was coming since 2001 was so fresh
-
That NAM ends up following the SREF NMB member closely. Been tracking it run after run. Wherever that NMB model does with precip gradient the NAM follows. Just a new trick If you want a sneak peak on where the NAM run will go an hour before it comes out
-
I think NAM is going to be the greatest model run of all time for Philly. Topping last night
-
Here was eps, the black dot I made is where the OP was
-
I was incorrect. The 15z srefs use 12z NAM initialization. However, tracking it last day or so it seems the next NAM run matches the prior NMB run. Not exactly the amounts, but the axis of its precip. Could just be a coincidence I’m not sure. We’ll see!
-
Oddly enough the euro bombs the low deeper than the NAM.
-
Euro joined the party.
-
Mickey the models are just converging now. Relax bub it’s going to snow
-
Someone in your region will get 24-36” depending where the h7 band ends up. Really jealous. Should get like 6-10” here in Philly, but your region is primed imo.
-
No more Philly discord?! NAM usually follows the NMB member so expect the 12z NAM to be pretty tucked imo
-
NMB sref member runs off same stuff as NAM. This is its 9z run, and the NAM usually follows it. Expect the NAM to go nuts at 12z (right or wrong)
-
Starting to think the euro/cmc blend is right and we’ll start to see the gfs/nam start trending towards them. They’re just the better models especially at this range. Still a 5-10” snow event for Philly with 10-16” E NJ. I don’t buy the NAM when it’s now all alone. The 00z models probably the high mark of the event. In the end though Boston will get the most snow out of everyone, as always, bastads
-
It follows the rgem so expect it to look pretty similar to that
-
Yea the precip during the day Sunday prob has issues, but the ccb? Not one flake would be wasted.
-
H5 had a slight better tilt to me, statistically it forecasts snow the best in Philly. A storm is coming. This isn’t going to 2001 us, but I guess cmc still throws a wrench in there as one possibility still. You can’t just throw it out unfortunately. Hopefully 12z tomorrow it comes on with at least 1”+ QPF for city
-
Still can’t quite get the rgem/cmc to come all in, it keeps getting a little better each run though. Kind of annoying, but no fret
-
I drive part time on weekends too, the market runs will be nuts tomorrow lol
-
I want the rgem too, come on kid
