  1. Steady light snow here and 30F. 1/4" on all surfaces.
  2. If it's going to be rainy and cloudy during this mildup, it wouldn't surprise me to stay in the upper 40's, especially the valley areas.
  3. I'll believe it when I see it. Looks like lower 50's here next weekend, about +20.
  4. What forecasts have 65-70? And all of NE LOL.
  5. Having unrealistic expectations for our climate leads to much anxiety.
  6. 2006-2007 Winter weather didn't start until February. I imagine some folks on here were taking toaster bath's with that Winter. What a complete 180, tons of snow in February, March and April.
  7. Precipitation around here just dried up once the colder air filtered in. Nothing more than flurries after midnight.
  8. Looks like rain and snow filling in to my West. Currently overcast here and 38F.
  9. 43F, light drizzle. The streets around here still have snowbanks.
  10. Scattered rain showers here and 40F. 0.07" since midnight. Fairly dense fog.
  11. Munich Haus if you like German food. The schnitzel platter is especially good.
  12. I like that place, but I'm having a hard time with the carpet on the quad. I can't maintain my balance when loading the lift. I'm going to get in a few days at Sundown, strengthen my legs and try skiing there again in Late January.
  13. Freewheeler yesterday at Butternut, untracked groomer and nobody on the trail:
  14. Flying Cloud, Mini Dole and UMass aren't opened. Can't say I remember those runs being closed in January. If you know the dates you are skiing, BE offers discounts for advanced purchase. Use their calendar to reload you're RFID card.
  15. April 6, 1982, very cold blizzard for NYC and environs. February 1983 blizzard. I lived in NYC at the time and remember heavy wet snow with lots of thunder and lightning.
  16. Hopefully NE Massachusetts gets 60-80" of additional snow this season with snowcover until April.
