Most ski areas used the optimal temperatures of late to make tons of snow. Ski Sundown fully recovered from the thaw and has deep base depths. Very cold temperatures and the lack of wind was a big help.
MLK weekend was also very busy, so busy in fact that Mount Snow ran out of rental equipment.
Seems like you are, never said deep Winter, just scattered snowcover here since early December, besides last week. If you have a problem with that I really don't care. Connecticut Valley Snowman will tell you the same.
Beautiful looking out there, with about 1.25" of snow. Beats looking at brown grass the last one week. No snow here for about one week since early December.
