  1. NWS cut back on the Snowfall accumulation here to 2-4".
  2. I'll take 2-4" and be happy just to have snowcover again. Looks like it will stick around for a while. Next week looks cold.
  3. Snow showers here about every 20 minutes or so, everything is slightly snow covered.
  4. I'm being facetious, Dr Arid says we're rolling into late Winter.
  5. We're rolling into late Winter, so May isn't far away.
  6. Light dusting of snow here, currently overcast and 32F. Looks like the precipitation shield has moved North of here.
  7. Light mix of snow/sleet and freezing drizzle. 30F.
  8. Crocus and Snowdrops bloom in late March around here, daffodils early April. Buds usually don't appear much before then. We just melted away limited snowcover over the weekend. Currently it's 100% brown.
  9. I'm wondering if there will be any accumulating snow here, NWS has a rain/snow mix and a low of 33F. Currently clear skies here and 27F.
  10. So late January is late Winter, okay. Beyond avatar amusement, your posts aren't good for much.
  11. And I consider late Winter to be late February into March. Not January 15th.
  12. So three weeks into official Winter is late Winter? Do we live in the South or Mid-Atlantic? You don't like snow and cold, that's great. 99% of the folks on here do.
  13. NWS has 1-3" forecast here for Saturday evening.
  14. I'll be enjoying the cold tomorrow skiing with my son.
  15. What about it. 60's can wait until April.
  16. The high of 30F tommorow will feel awesome.
  17. Absolute blizzard here, heavy snow and high winds.
  18. Very dark skies here and quite windy, almost like a Summer thunderstorm is nearby.
  19. Definitely winding down in Colorado sometime in June.
  20. Not a single one, guaranteed. The ski area's around here survive on snowmaking, so deep snow is made whenever possible. Man-made snow can also be made dense and water/warmth resistant. I'll be at Sundown on Thursday for the first time this season. Usually they cover all runs with very deep snow. The only place in Connecticut that might not do so well is Powder Ridge, it's very far South and not strong on Snowmaking.
