  1. venus use to be just like earth a billion years ago before climate change i.e the sun getting hotter as it gets older ruined that paradise.. the same thing will happen to earth. at that time mars will move into the habitable zone..temp wise..

  5. was very dark a a few minutes ago a few thunderclaps not much rain sky has gotten lighter..maybe the worst of the storm passed north of me..

  7. it was a bust yesterday for precip in central park and a bust earlier in the week where was the 2-4 inches promised for central park if the forecast lived up nyc would have set a all time record for rain in the month of july in central park

  9. i cannot remember the last time we had a summer stretch for this long that has been so humid..
  10. it was the odd the quickness the sun came back out when heavy showers and tstorms on the radar were right in or near the city the storms just went poof..i did not expect that.. that has not been the case for the city recently
  11. when i was watching the weather channel this morning they led me to believe that nyc would be affected much later tonight
  12. does not feel as bad as i thought it would feel..must be diminished sun angle now that we are in mid july..

  14. lovely day for the city nice comfortable temps wont hit 80 for almost the middle of july not bad at all..
  15. last night i did not think that storm would bring 1.42 inches in central park.. it did not last long...
  16. it looks like the park has a excellent chance of breaking a 132 year old rainfall record...
  17. the all time july rainfall record in central park of 11:89 inches set back in 1889 is in peril.
