They lack length. Every game I’ve seen them struggle has been against teams with skilled bigs. CSU plays a similar brand of hoops as Michigan.

The Terps are a tough out, but they've gotta stop getting off to these slow starts. So sloppy to start both of these games and, make no mistake, that will bite them against the elite teams (assuming they get past CSU which has some good ball handlers at each position).

Felt nicer today than I would have thought given the clouds and temps. Probably because it wasn’t too windy today. I’d only accept a 6”+ snowstorm at this point. I just can’t do these little events anymore and I think that same thought might roll into next winter as well. Onto spring and summer now…

The current satellite loop is a base state pattern from November thru April…not an everyday, but a base.

Seems to be as a general rule that south of dc has a little more sunshine than north. I guess it’s a combo of being closer to the Lakes and a little higher elevation being closer to the Apps.

Was just thinking radar looked wild over there. I’m like just below that purple core on RadarScope.

Those were basically anomalies. Maybe we needed a more active southern stream, but there was a lack of clippers and coastals.

I really think storm tracks are further north the last several years. I use this example a lot, but it's pretty telling that we rarely get clippers anymore. The first and second parts to this system went all the way into the Wisconsin/Great Lakes region. Cutters are not our strength. We need systems to be further south and they just simply haven't been that way often enough.

Great game by the Wizards last night, but they do rely a bit too much on the three ball. As for MD...that ending pissed me off. I know Reese was defending the weak side, but you can't let a guard go end to end like that. I really think they need someone taller in the paint...this isn't the first time our front court (including Queen) has given up points in the paint and boards. With that said, think MD will end up with a 4 seed, which is still pretty good.

Winds have picked up here...wanted to drive with all my windows down, but my eyes are high maintenance, so I didn't think that would be an intelligent decision.
