  1. This works: https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_band.php?sat=G16&sector=ne&band=GEOCOLOR&length=12&dim=1
  2. I was hoping it would be by Saturday. I think I'm gonna cave soon and get a hoops sesh in anyway.
  3. The rain puts a damper on my biking, but I can fit in hoops around mild temps and rain. What I don't want is 40s/low 50s and wind. I've graduated from that. The main thing we need to be weary of are those lumbering upper level lows through the GL and northeast. That's a recipe for cloudy/cool/breezy.
  4. It wants to be cloudy so badly, but so far it's been a pretty nice start to the day. Looks like we're in and out of sun for the remainder of the day, but that's an improvement over the "tropical remnants" type of a pattern we had all week.
  5. I think this nonsense finally ends by Sunday
  6. Today is a classic day where areas closer to the mountains will probably more clouds than areas further east. I “chased” the sun into work today from Frederick to Columbia.
  7. Just heard thunder. Active weather week for early April.
  8. Drove through that line from Columbia. Ran into some hail on 32. I’m looking forward to our weather pattern shifting to one that involves sun.
  9. Heading in the right direction
  10. The creek next to Hamburg Rd in the Watershed is flowing thick rn. Might be the most active I’ve seen it. I think we’re good on rain for a bit.
  11. Might get some breaks in the clouds before sunset. https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_band.php?sat=G16&sector=ne&band=GEOCOLOR&length=12&dim=undefined

  13. This system has come in waves. Looks like another round maybe this afternoon, but I’m assuming more scattered.
  14. I missed that one…I was out like a light lol. Looks like 12-2 is when those cells moved through with another 0.5-1”…with another round incoming. Healthy system.
  15. Strong precip day in Frederick…around 1.5” in nearby pws gauges.
  16. Chunky raindrops with this latest round.
  17. Gotten woken up by a doozy…healthy little line of storms. Basically getting beeline’d atm.
  18. It actually got nice out lol. Light wind, humid…some breaks in the clouds…prime hoops weather.
  19. The jet stream has been too far north. My concern is drier summers. Tbd
  20. lol. I did hear thunder this morning...this is one of those Mason Dixon line scrapers. I've been on the southern end.
  21. Looks like nicer weather might not return until Saturday or Sunday. Glad I got out and enjoyed the temps yesterday while they lasted.
  22. Yea I’m ok with the first part of the storm…I just despise the cloudy/breezy/meh weather that those systems can bring as they hang around until the traffic clears.
  23. Meandering GL/NE upper level lows are the worst.
  24. House sitting/dog sitting in Olney and have heard several rumbles so far along with lightning. Yep, didn't expect that after glancing at the radar a little while ago. It was somewhat mild/humid today, though.
  25. Looks like a miserable stretch of weather incoming this week.
