Drove thru a brief torrential downpour on 70 west. There’s some meat to the clouds today

Radar looks much healthier than I expected. I looked like it was raining again here in Columbia after a pretty decent lunchtime walk.

Dryness in the desert feels right, but there’s something off about not having humidity here. With that said, I can’t complain…this has been a primo spring so far. The pollen, though…wow.

The bugs have been legit recently. Birds damn near flying into my car with the windows down, mosquitoes hitching rides while I’m biking, biting gnats or whatever the hell those things are that I don’t recall experiencing in Moco, and even a wasp (probably a mud dauber) found its way into my place yesterday. The mid Atlantic swamp is back.
