12z is our most important run of the year so far.

It does look kind of enticing, though. Pretty stout HP nearby on both of the spotlight models. Precip is generally easier than cold here.

I'm not that far behind. We're simply not good at snow anymore and that's just the reality of the situation. Hoping we can at least have something to track soon. That would be a step in the right direction.

One of the bigger issues, at least in the 95 corridor, the last 10-15 years has been the lack of December snow. We used to be able to wet our palette's with at least a close in 'burbs storm or two early in the season, but if you look at DCA stats there hasn't been a 2"+ snowfall since 2011...which is pretty bad and fully supports the idea that we're losing snow on the margins. I guess the question is whether it's a decadal pattern issue or a long-term trend.

When they’re snow covered, I get antsy. I prob should belong to a gym, but there’s not many around here with courts and i already get gym access (without courts) at home and work.

I prefer 24 hrs until about -40 hrs (by then i typically want my basketball courts back). >24 hrs is for the culture.

The problem with the rain changing to snow idea is that the precip stopped and it’s in the 40s here. Outstanding rainfall event, though.

Wind has made an aggressive entrance here. We’ve been pretty good at that lately.

Thought it would be milder today, but ended up being cool and damp. December rain incoming.

Weird...current forecast for LWX says cloudy through the day and night with rain mainly after 1pm tomorrow. Thought it was supposed to begin earlier than that.

I’d be with stupid more often if we get a pattern where storms actually traversed south of our latitude.
