rain has come in two waves here (2nd one in progress). not a lot of thunder, but there's some. gust front brought some breezy conditions before the rain arrived. -
well i don't normally root for 90 degree weather, but i'll take it over 50/cloudy/breezy (i'm over that) or even 60 and sunny. i'd lock in upper 70s to low 80s if i could.

effective thunderstorm moving through here. this really is one of, if not my favorite, kinds of weather days. great for outdoor hoops and then topped off with a thunderstorm. trails will inevitable be a mess tomorrow, though. only downside. -

we needed the rain, so not gonna complain about that, but it would be really nice if spring starts after this system moves through lol. i can't imagine what it must be like living in the northern tier states. it has gotten a notch nicer lately, but this pattern has been tough to shake. in any case, not surprised to see some flood warnings. i did bike little bennett thursday and the trail was damp and still muddy in spots, unlike the previous couple months where most trails were predominantly dry.

part of the issue has been the clouds and wind which have been more the rule than the exception for about 5 months now. sure, temps may be near normal, but it has definitely felt like a less than ideal spring so far with the exception of last week. sunny and 50s feels a lot better than cloudy/windy and 50s. must be a la nina trait with the fast flowing northern stream as it's felt more like the northern mid-atlantic than southern.

Well if it’s gonna happen let it be Monday.

Went on a bit of a mtb binge this past week (trails have been in good shape). If it’s gonna be a late November day tomorrow it might as well be Monday while my legs are sore. Also hiked a trail in Michaux last weekend where it hailed/graupel’d for a few minutes. That was pretty wild. Definitely a flip flop pattern, but seems to be inching it’s way towards spring. Latter half of the week looks pretty nice.

Pretty close lightning strike here in Frederick a few mins ago. Been some thunder around these cells which is surprising given the temps.

B- Could see why people would grade it lower, though. Aside from January, it’s mostly felt like late Fall…generally cloudy and cool. Ready for Spring to make a prolonged appearance.

Drenching rain here. Lightning involved. Breezy. Severe or not, this storm took its vitamins. -

That line looks tasty for dt Frederick. Let’s see if it holds. -
Got antsy and biked little Bennett after work. Trail was in pretty good shape. Saw a few others out there. Chilly…yes…but sunny.
-
would have been cool to hike gambrill during this...or biking greenbrier. seems like that streamer has been parked between hagerstown and gambrill for the last hour or so.
-
extremely healthy snow shower in progress here. putting down a coating.
-
I thought winter was a wrap, too. Had to get my jacket back from the closet. Mother Nature tossed a serious curveball.
-
today's weather is anti-ideal. had a couple of good snow/graupel showers here yesterday. as long as it's sunny i can deal with a couple days of this.
-
i don't think i had the 2600, but did have the 7800. i used to rock the apple iie back in the day. that was a fun system...so many games.

speaking of which, i miss playing arkanoid at the cap center. if you know, you know.

sounds like playing intellivision growing up is the cut off, which means i made the cut. only by a few years, though.

thanks, yea this contract is nuts. we have 3 teams, but probably around the same number of people total (around 30-35 if i had to guess). one of the SM's left and so they added me as SM until they figure things out. problem is we now only have 1 ba on a team that could easily have 2-3 ba's and also have to balance the new PI planning in 2 weeks. we're short-staffed with devs as well. I actually don't mind the SM role so far, though. the scrum ceremonies I can get used to, but not a fan of the fact that I also have to run multiple help desk calls along with other non-agile related tasks.
