  1. I just measured an inch lol
  2. It’s got my area right so far, I can tell you that much. Maybe the next round can spruce up the numbers
  3. Seems accurate so far north of dc, no?
  4. That’s surprising tho it does seem like the yellow bands have it a wall around dc.
  5. Exactly what I was about to report. Measured up to an inch in several spots and roads and sidewalks are a mix of slushy and a dusting.
  6. Quite possibly the most important storm of the season
  7. Yea, it’s unfortunately a total bust up here so far. Just looked outside…hardly snowing…may wait on my stroll lol
  8. If the nam h5 map is correct then Frederick should get in on better rates in a couple hrs. Gonna take a stroll now and investigate what’s going on.
  9. Nah, no two snows are alike lol. This storm is weak sauce for our area. I had a hunch this would be the outcome. At this point, if I get 2-3” I’ll be pretty surprised. Something in the overall pattern is just not favoring the normal distribution of snowfall…it’s actually getting kinda weird.
  10. Yea, it's a cosmetic event up here. Light snow and wet roads. This one ain't ours, that's for sure.
  11. Automobile hoods, lawns, and patio chairs are caving to the current flizzard in Frederick, MD.
  12. Late next week might be the next one worthy of tracking investment.
  13. Just pixie dust here, though I would classify it as steady. Can still see the Catoctin's, but visibility is lowering.
  14. I always ask myself what's the point of building all this tech if we're not trying to make our lives easier.
  15. I hope it picks up. We need all the moisture we can get.
  16. I know, but a man’s gotta eat
  17. Had to drive into Columbia for work...probably gonna head home during lunch. I have absolutely zero interest in being on 70 during rush hour. Latest NAM looks acceptable.
  18. Well…regardless of what happens, we have a snowfall on our doorstep. This winter is demonstrably better than the last few.
  19. I think we might do well with ratios up here. 0.5" line is close. I'm actually only under a WWA...still 2-4", which is fine. Funny thing is, the forecast really hasn't changed much here...pretty rock solid the last couple days.
  20. I'm not that surprised when you look at the surface high moving off the coast with the wind shift to the south. Still looks like a great storm for the 270 split and south crew.
  21. Nam qpf looks better for DC south, but I wouldn't say it's all that much better to the north. Snowfall maps do nothing for me anymore...I've finally learned my lesson on those.
  22. Most important Nam runs in the history of 2025 incoming.
  23. HRRR decided to over-extrapolate the fact that we have a 1030 surface high right now. I get it...but I don't like it.
