  1. This is true lol, especially for this type of setup. It actually looks similar to some of the other storms where we're just having a difficult time getting a true nor'easter. Might have to wait until El Nino settles in...maybe next Fall.
  2. Looks like a soaking rain incoming, but doesn't really seem like a nor'easter. Whatever low develops scoots ots instead of hugging the coast.
  3. We're a rain town now...there might be no escaping it. Was raining in Frederick this morning and dried up as I got closer to Columbia.
  4. Finally got a bike ride in over at the 'shed. Been a while. Trail was in good shape...dried out nicely...only slightly damp. The next rainer should continue to help the creek there, which looked like it was still flowing from the last couple events.
  5. It's kind of a weak low, but it is taking a premium track.
  6. Kinda wild that it was in the 80s recently. Today felt crisp, but the sun helped.
  7. Weird, I've averaged ~1.61 posts per day since I joined, which is approximately the same as the golden ratio.
  8. Quite a stream of clouds with this system. Looks like it doesn’t clear up until Ohio. Very soggy in Frederick rn even tho we got jobbed on this round.
  9. This weather is atrocious, but needed. Hoping tomorrow is actually sunny.
  10. Might be a wrap for the night, but that’s another day with beneficial rain.
  11. Warning from that same batch moving into eastern Frederick county. Only had rain here, but they were fattie drops.
  12. This last round had some productive soakers in there.
  13. All it does in Frederick now is rain.
  14. Current moisture feed is straight off the Atlantic. Looks like the wind shift to the south might take some time.
  15. Beautiful basketball weather. One of the unusual days where we have humidity and calm winds. Really liking the start to spring so far.
  16. I slept through it, but ran the loop on COD radar...looked like a decent stat padder.
  17. One of the more humid days of the year so far.
  18. Feels amazing out temp-wise, though. Much better than yesterday.
  19. I chased a foggy, Atlantic Ocean-style shower on my way to Columbia this morning.
  20. It was awesome. I’ve never been great with heights (prefer to bike uphill than downhill), but I do like occasional roller coasters. I wasn’t ready for the vortex, though lol. Went to Hershey park last year…they’ve got a few good ones, too.
  21. Rode my first roller coaster there - The Beast. My dad had some friends in Cincy that we visited
  22. ~1.25" from this event here. Basically a perfect vort pass for Frederick valley.
  23. Local rain gauges already showing 1”+ amounts. This is one of the more legit rain events I’ve seen since I moved to Frederick. Radar still showing activity to the southwest and the thunder is booming. 2” is within reach.
  24. Gonna be 1-2” amounts around here, I think, when all is said and done.
  25. Yea, nice (and needed) rainer with some T&L, but nothing severe so far.
