  1. Snow definitely picking up again and finally bigger flakes.
  2. The sound is definitely helping to fire up the snow again. Easy to tell.
  3. Looks like straight 10-1 ratio. Once again shows you can’t rely on temps alone to create good ratios. One of my issues today has also been lousy snow growth/tiny flakes.
  4. Damn. The South Shore from Bellmore east will likely all finish with 20+. That area going to town again. I’m probably moderate intensity again, hopefully I can get one more heavy burst.
  5. Maybe a convergence area off the sound as well. That seems to happen with these storms.
  6. Long Beach. Basically I’m free snow shoveling labor for my mother. Snow picking back up, one last hurrah maybe. Hopefully we can get another inch.
  7. Should've stayed in Huntington. I have plenty here but I'm sure there's 4-5" more there. I've been battling subsidence here for a while. About as typical of these in Long Beach as the sun rising every day.
  8. 22” at ISP, 2” last hour. Holy…. Whats ISP’s all time record?
  9. My house in Huntington looks to be getting pounded. Light to moderate here in this semi-subsidence area. I have no idea really how much I have due to blowing but has to be over a foot. Probably 1-3” more to go for most of us.
  10. Out my front window in Long Beach about a half hour ago. Coming down heavy in this attempt at a band here.
  11. Central/northern NJ in for another burst as well it seems. Not the crazy LI stuff but enough for a couple-few more inches there hopefully.
  12. Radar looks amazing out by you. Awesome! Band really trying to pull together for Nassau. C’mon!!
  13. Yeah I spoke too soon lol. Back to heavy here in Long Beach with this band trying to form.
  14. I think the west moves on the bands are over at this point and from here we see slow but steady pushes east. But still plenty left to go.
  15. Ahh, didn't see that. They probably make it to 20". Awesome!
  16. And forget 24", in that Hamptons band is where someone will get 30" maybe.
  17. My William Floyd Pkwy idea will end up a little east of that. But wow at that band, congrats!! Looks like there's another one trying to form around Robert Moses to Port Jeff. Islip may get 18" too by the end. There may be one more attempt starting at a heavy band where I am in Nassau. C'mon...
  18. That stuff in W Suffolk actually looks quite nice. Not the insanity of what's happening near Westhampton but probably 1-2"/hr. It's probably still coming down in Long beach at 1"/hr and I'm out of any major banding.
  19. Someone should've taken me up on the military planes full of ice cubes to stop the convection. Crazy how this is the 2nd coastal storm now to have convection rob it like this. Still very impressive.
  20. Wow at the band around Riverhead and just SE. There'll be 20" easy in that area. I hopefully get to 15". The crazy band potential is over here IMO but enough meat left to go to add several or more inches still.
  21. Probably about 10” here in Long Beach but hard to really tell. Coming down moderate.
  22. If this keeps up until mid morning, Long Island will get buried. Holy.... Surprised at the lack of hardcore banding thus far but I shouldn't too loudly given how that usually goes for Nassau County. I'm sure that's coming in a few hours where people will rip at 3"/hr under said bands. Crazy how this has evolved over just the last 12 hours.
