  1. Waiting for Amped to bring out the Feb. 87 analog. Marginal temps, fast moving and nice juiced up system.
  2. It would be nice to have a below average month for a change.
  3. It could've been early Feb. I'm not 100 percent sure but I though it was the 26th of January. I do remember an early Feb. storm that was a bust. It was supposed to be a rain changing to heavy snow type deal with up to 10 inches possible and instead it was 1-2 after the changeover.
  4. Basically it's the legendary arctic front but there were some other events that were decent but there also were a couple busts that would've of made it a very good year if they panned out. I can remember several cold blasts and there was the all time greatest snow squall in late January that accompanied another arctic front.
  5. Yeah but were in the game. last year the game was cancelled. These are just the ebbs and flows that go with the territory when you love snow. Let's see if these changes for next week are for real in next few model cycles and if they are I still think the rest of February will be workable.
  6. Time to go full weenie mode. Right around the Feb. 12th-14th period all the indicies are lining up and pointing to a very nice window of opportunity. AO remains severely negative and NAO is on the rise from severely negative. EPO is negative as is the WPO. PNA tries to get to neutral or slightly positive. Coincides with our prime climo. MJO may try for 8.
  7. We had a nice period of snow from 2:30 until now. Starting to wind down. Picked up another inch or so.
  8. I got barely 4" after expecting not much. Westminster just 8 miles to my southwest got 6".
  9. This band is solid. Picked up close to another inch on existing snowpack. Too bad this didnt hit riafter dark.
  10. Nice burst going on with a few wind gusts dropping visibility. Temp down to 29.
  11. Look how cold previous Euro runs were after the sunday storm. On today's run its totally different. That could lend to helping the Wednesday storm work out.
  12. The entire post storm set up changed on this run. No longer record breaking cold. I guess we have to be careful how far inland this low can get.
  13. That low is booking. I'll take it. 6-10 in 10 hours followed by arctic cold.
  14. Just woke up to moderate snow. Easily over 1 new inch.
  15. Good. Keep it coming. We don't get many days like what tomorrow could offer. Usually we get a storm and the next day is sunny and calm. Getting a steady light snow agin now.
  16. Great storm for you guys. You're usually in a really good spot.
  17. Moderate snow. Skies were bright for a while but not anymore.
