  1. 2010 ruined it for so many. Once you hit the pinnacle nothing else can satisfy. Almost like addicts searching for the ultimate high.
  2. Can't see where you would get such an absurd idea like that. There's nobody here like that.
  3. Much of Maryland has been under a winter storm warning in 5 out of the last 6 march's so you shouldn't be convinced of anything yet.
  4. Same thing situation on rt. 30 in Manchester. I should've taken some pictures but I didnt have the time.
  5. I'm thinking the same thing however if the Saturday wave gets stronger and hits us then most likely the Sunday wave will stay under us but be weak. This scenario would probably yield to a more icy mix deal with the Tuesday into Wednesday deal. I might be willing to roll the dice on a stronger cutter Sunday to open the door for a better midweek solution.
  6. We should do ok this weekend and next week as long as roger smith doesn't put the kiss of death on us and predict a triple phaser with 110 mph wind gusts.
  7. Ice accretion continues despite marginal temps. Surfaces must be running a few degrees below air temps.
  8. With all these threats its going to get confusing as to what threat people are referencing.
  9. Pretty solid glaze on everything. Side roads and neighborhood roads were really bad but now they are getting better. Starting to get beeezy.
  10. Ended up going with 5.5. For a storm total. Spotter 1 mile away had 4.7. At 8 p.m. last night so my total seems in line.
  11. Snowing very nicely as this narrow band pushes north. 30. Storm total is around 5.
  12. I'm going to head to Westminster in a few. Going to be real interesting to see what happens later. Looks like we can hold onto snow until at least 10 p.m. if not longer. Then if we get a little colder than modeled we could get a heck of an icing on everything through tomorrow a.m. I could see us staying in the low 30's most of tomorrow.
  13. Heaviest snow falling now for the event. Close to inch an hour rates. Heading towards 4 inches. 31.
  14. Really nice band with big flakes. Solid moderate. Almost 3 inches. 29.
  15. All snow. Close to moderate. Pushing 2 inches. 27.
  16. Little trivia facts like the 1962 seattle thing you just posted mean something and have value. It's funny how history repeats but it does so for a reason not just coincidence.
  17. We were always down to the last 2 weeks of February. Anything next week is a bonus or because of a faster reaction to the soi crashing or mjo speeding up into phase 8.
  18. I thought it was a good run too. Mostly all frozen up here. Not sure on how much snow but would think at least decent amount. Get the high a little stronger and slightly better positioned and this could be a nasty event.
  19. That's exactly it. We have a winter window that we need to take advantage off between Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Anyone remember a snow to big rainstorm back in March? Maybe 1994? Yes. Early March 1994. Around the 3rd or 4th. Areas not to far to the north and west got crushed.
  20. Wow. 7-8 would be tremendous from a clipper but a foot is incredible. What a spot.
  21. Ended up with a bit under 2.5. Almost 12 hours consecutive with snow falling. Very nice.
