Another pathetic typical southern wake co night..Midwest gets blasted again....snow t storms...snow t storms...snow t storms...yawn So much for thunderstorms tonight...why am I surprised?

We got rain but lastnight but still...the air seemed so stable. How do we not get t storms after so many days of high heat and sun? Things just seem not so typical around here. Normally we would see at least some lightning and heavy downpours even after 11pm. Horrible spring so far.

Just hope we can get a severe day or two in before the heat really sets in...what a horrible Spring for T-storms...uggg. Midwest cashes in on all the fun weather no matter what season.

I will say a D in south wake. My reasoning is we got more snow last season and the snow fell during the day last year. This season got 2.5....2 inches of snow at night and a half inch of sleet also at night. in addition, you have to throw in the epic bust of both systems over wake co. Dry slotted both storms. I don't care about the dustings before that.

As much as I love bad weather I have no clue why I stay in Raleigh...we have to have the lamest weather outside of southern CA. How do you have a 4 out of 5 risk of severe storms and it does not even turn out the be a level 1 risk? You literally cannot even make this crap up...How do counties just to your east and west get 12 inches on snow and we get 2? lol

I thought the same thing about the surface winds. Normally we would be gusting outside of T storms 40 to 50 MPH. Rain showers causing this to be EPIC bust. lol

Just typical NC weather. Nothing is high end about these storms YET at least.
