    20 in Fuquay-Varina...dewpoint -1. Still not impressive with a forecast high in the upper 30s tomorrow. Nothing to really see here!

    I had a nice dusting this morning in Fuquay-Varina. Nice surprise. I had to sleep and missed it. It was a nice surprise for SE wake!!!

    35 in fuquay Varina...last system we were 45 at this time. Lots of clouds too.

    Greg Fishel seems confident it will snow in the "triangle" tomorrow. However, he does not really break what that means. I mean...I know what that means...nothing for south Wake. But he said with confidence 1/2 inch for the triangle! Lol. Per facebook

    Who remembers the huge ice storm we got the first week of December 1989? I was in Wilson Co.. Sleet was like 6 inches deep...ice cycles were a foot long but like 6 inches wide? No power...the WRAL tower collapsed! Man I miss those storms we used to get!!

    For all the hype of this cold blast...it was never really anything but a normal cold blast for November in Raleigh. Back when I was a kid we got our first freeze here in October pretty much every year.

    I would definitely take 80s in November as long as we get a hard freeze out of the way first. Let the cold come in December or January!

    Yes...we need this rain so bad. Unfortunately, west of here will not cash in much. I am afraid about the upcoming fire season in the mountains

    58 for the low in Fuquay Varina this morning. Made it up to 82 yesterday for the high.

    Uggg...less hope winter does not turn out like the winter following August 2004....Nothing but cold rain and CAD ice (mostly minor). Only real snow was eastern & coastal NC in December.

    How long have u lived in Wilson? Do u remember the snow we got there between 2001-2014? It was insane! It was insane snow!

    I don't even want to describe the ride to work. Nothing in fuquay....got to crossroads and it went crazy...around 7:30am....I did not expect it. It took me 1.5 hours to get to Wade Park. It's a normal 35 minutes. I was driving through 4 to 6 inches of water at times...I got to work and looked at the radar and turned around and went home! Lol...I cannot wait to see the totals!

    Rain is insane out here today. In Cary today and roads are flooded...over 6 inches and still pouring! Started pouring before 7 am and has not stopped once!

    I lived in New Bern then. We got hit by Hurricane Dennis twice. It first rode up the coast, then stalled and started moving back west for a landfall. I feel like there was another storm. I think it was called Irene...pretty sure. That might be where Graham got the additional rain?
