    New Bern had 14 inches in 1989. Whatever moron at the airport who took that measurement of 8 inches was HIGH. I measured 14 inches in several parts of my yard. I lived over by Merchants in Brices Creek.

    I wonder why the outerbanks got so little? Warm air or dry slot? I thought the 80 storm was SUPER cold?? I was only 4 and lived in Wilson...I slightly remember it.
