  1. I use Lightning Pro which is pretty good too.. $10 per year I think
  2. Never thought I’d feel let down getting a SVR t-storm watch
  3. 80% probability for a watch. This is taking so long I’m worried this is the other 20%..lol
  4. Sun has been out here consistently almost an hour now
  5. Sun is in and out here but should be more “out” soon if satellite is correct
  6. Probably not important in the least but fwiw they pulled the 5% tornado risk east into Boston proper
  7. Sun is starting to peek out here and looking at satellite the clouds are starting to break going back to NY state so we will see I guess
  8. Hard to get a big severe day without an EML, no?
  9. New Day 2 outlook due at the bottom of the hour
  10. Lol I imagine this has to be a mistake as I’ve never seen severe mentioned in a forecast 48 and 96 hours out before: Thursday A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Partly sunny, with a high near 94. Southwest wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Thursday Night A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. Southwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Friday Sunny, with a high near 94. West wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 74. Southwest wind 11 to 13 mph. Saturday A chance of showers between 10am and noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind 9 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Saturday Night A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. Northwest wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%
  11. Just a couple of summers ago it looked like it might never rain again
  12. I won’t be interested in the tropics until Bastardi makes his 5th mention of a “1938 analog”
  13. Agreed that it seemed this happened routinely 20-30 years ago!
  14. You can for eastern MA LOL. As bad as it’s been here though, obviously a completely different story out near the Springfield area. Must look like a huge lake after the rain this summer
  15. Lol never ceases to amuse me how with a slight risk so close it still cuts off so abruptly that I’m lucky to get a clap of thunder in E MA
  16. NYC might be the thunder capital of the NE. Even on marginal days it seems a cluster is routinely tearing through the city
