Do any of the other current tropical waves have a shot at the east coast or are they doomed to follow the Erin path again? Edit: or is it just too early to make that determination?
Maybe just my own false perception but it seems August has been particularly bad for severe the last several years? Growing up in the 70’s/80’s it didn’t seem like that? I vividly remember some spectacular events in those days
Hopefully I can retire in a couple of years because once I do I’ll be moving to the southeast somewhere. I’ll be damned if I’m going to go “hurricane-less” before I pass on
I barely saw Gloria really. Knocked over a couple of trees and a little bit of light rain and that was it for me..Hurricane Bob was a total non entity when I lived in Dedham..Hurricane Belle in ‘76 when I was a wee lad had some heavy rain and gusty winds but I don’t think it was even a hurricane at landfall
