    Have there been any “historical” snowstorms to hit on Christmas Day in the Boston area? I can remember snowstorms before and after Xmas but nothing on the actual day itself?

    This would be about the 50th time in the last year that inland seems to jackpot in a rainstorm as compared to the coast. That’s how it seems anyway

    Over 1,000 days since parts of E MA have seen over 4+ inches? Could that be right? edit: it feels like it here

    I was pretty far away in eastern MA but I remember this day vividly. It was abnormally warm and humid and after my mother walked me home from school we had a tremendous thunderstorm (kinda rare in OCT here). And later on the 6pm news we heard about the tornado in CT

    Isn’t a storm even coming out of the Caribbean at this point in time almost certainly a subtropical storm if it makes it north of say 30N?

    I’m no fan of the fall but even I have to admit this has been an unbelievable stretch of great weather.
