With temps progged to fall below freezing, a rain to snow transition and precipitation continuing to fall, I think a major problem will be any untreated road surfaces freezing up eventually as the morning progresses.

Feb 78 still gets my vote. I was a kid but remember it well. The huge drifts that were everywhere was amazing. One side of the street had asphalt showing while the other was buried under drifts. Dec 2010 came close with the drifting.

From Steve D: The EPS is what I used as a base for my thoughts since yesterday, and really no change was found. Saw what the ECMWF did. Possible. Sure, but I also noticed some questionable amplification. -
Upton in their morning AFD going for mostly rain at the coast after starting off as some snow and with a snow/sleet/rain event inland for Sun-Mon event.
