  1. I think we are entering a great summer two weeks!
  2. They are "moving" West and North more than anything vs East. I think Hburg gets more involvement once the SLP gets closer tonight.
  3. It is intense. Too much so if you ask me. Over near Manchester MD there is apparently flash flooding ongoing.
  4. We are finally getting the goods over here. Florida downpour worthy rain. Definitely going to be some street and possible stream flooding.
  5. Dude, that view is incredible. I love West Coast (of Florida) beaches but that pic makes me want to jump in the car and head east.
  6. How is this for a stat. On today's 12Z GFS, MDT does not hit 80 (after today) on any map, including all 18Z panels, until June 24th! A two week punt of above average temps.
  7. I did not notice your location change until now. Were you posting in the NC forum? :-)
  8. There are showers ripping around that Upper Low. If any faster paced rain developed in NY, especially in a storm situation with strong downdrafts, there could graupel as soundings show it below freezing below 800MB. How much for Albany?
  9. I did not notice that, great catch. 540 line in PA mid June is probably fairly rare. DP at MDT is mostly in the 40's and 50's next week.
  10. Next week is shaping up to be great temp and Dp wise. A little brrrr one night. High DP's flushed out Sunday night. MDT very close to breaking two daily min records based on this GFS run. June 16 and 17.
  11. I think some of the rain into tomorrow will be slower and more strat like you wanted. This is more for today's storms which are now firing up.
  12. NWS pulled the trigger Flood Watch National Weather Service State College PA Issued by National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 1147 AM EDT Thu Jun 10 2021 * Flash Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Lancaster, Somerset and York. Interesting says our southern friends issued it.
  13. SO the GFS joins the 2-4" for a large chunk of Central and Western LSV bandwagon. A bit less for the Burg and East. If we get shut out over here this will be one spectacular failure.
  14. Hopefully travels are safe. Glad you had great weather up until now.
  15. @CarlislePaWx just got a old fashioned Namming. Its not done accumulating yet but he is already pushing 5" tomorrow afternoon
  16. Gotta like the looks of the 12Z HRRR and its usually stingy qpf fields. Overnight/in the Am tomorrow it pushes a shield of precip up and into all of the LSV. Now time, several small cells/showers milling around the 'Burg right now.
  17. We have a Toftrees poster on here and I pinged him but no luck.
  18. They have us in the now famous 60% chance today. No word whether the Met is 100% confident of 60% of this area seeing rain or 60% confident of 100% of the area seeing rain. In your hood they could be 85% sure of 35% of the area seeing rain then rounding up. Their AFD comes right out and says tomorrow will be cloudy and rainy all day. But you are right, we shall see.
  19. I am punting tomorrow. May be light rain and cool all day.
  20. 62 and much nicer this AM. Current cells on radar are moving east to west this AM. Might struggle to break 60 daytime tomorrow. Midnight high time.
