  1. Hit 90 over here 3 times this year coming into this weekend. It is still 3 times as we topped out at 88 today. It appears likely what was once going to be an historic heat wave, due to its early arrival in the first week of summer, will go down without even hitting 90 in some places that were progged to get near 100 just 5-6 days ago (especially by the CMC and Icon but Euro was also hinting.)
  2. I need to be in ABE to help someone move next weekend so I am hoping the models are correct and we do not have a redux in 7 days.
  3. Just through Friday as depicted by the Euro. Ridge gives way a bit to start the work week and allows vorts and fronts to rotate in with daily rain chances.
  4. Down in Hagerstown 88. 85 on home system. Starting to cloud up a bit so seems to be aiming similar to yesterday for us.
  5. I thought of you and Carlisle when I said that. Lol
  6. In things that probably only interest me, MDT, LNS and York were all 84 at 11AM yesterday. Today.. MDT is 83 which is 1 degree behind yesterday at the same time. York is 85 which is one degree over. Lancaster 86 which is 2 over. DP's are 64- 66 which is a smidge over yesterday but not too bad in the shade. Lack of breeze is the worst thing. Think Paweather mentioned that.
  7. I am hoping we cool off some Tuesday maybe even tomorrow out my way. Will be close tomorrow. Could be 78 or 90 out here.
  8. HRRR has me getting to 90 today but temps are running behind the current panel being only 73 at this moment when it should be 76-80 by now. Has MDT getting Canderson his mid 90's. MDT actually seems to be highest temp in the NE Quadrant of the US. Only 80's to the east in Chester county. Have to go to Texas or Florida to find a higher predict.
  9. Next Saturday's Daily Max Min record is 62.
  10. With some of the backyard temps I read, I was surprised mdt came in so low. Wow, cool news about your daughter (Temple). Fingers crossed no incidents this week. Lol
  11. Glad you made it safely. Made it to 86 here today but elevation helped keep me a bit cooler than some of the LSV. MDT and LNS made 91...York 90. DP's were only in the 50's though EDI-Looks like NWS bumped their high to 92 now.
  12. GFS, Euro, CMC and Nam all rain on parts of PA Monday #hopeful
  13. Looks like 90 is a good average of all the LSV reporting stations. Harrisburg UHI in full effect on this map. That is my 86 down to the bottom right of Chambersburg. Actually down to 85 now clouds are starting to obscure the sun a bit.
  14. Finally found a 90. Taneytown MD. 85 back at the homestead station.
  15. Gettysburg outlets and getting a little less comfortable. 86. Big thing is the first cicada sounds of the year . Had not heard any until now.
  16. Out and about 83 in biglerville. I do think the lower areas get to or near 90. Not at all humid though so still decent.
  17. Was just outside for 30 min. It is quite nice. Low 70's and not much humidity yet. Wish I could hold it here for the day. Ha.
  18. Head or tails. LOL. The mantra of long range model discussions.
  19. The progged back door fronts could stop said heat from affecting us (even you out there) but models could flip on us so yea something to watch. I just know early last week we were staring at what 5-7 days straight of mid to upper 90's. Now you may not hit it once and we may get 2-3 low 90's over here (not counting MDT hitting 96 when it is 88 here, LOL). I am actually helping someone move next weekend so the CMS and GFS temps in the 60's are music to my ears.
  20. @TimB84saw you lurking. You might not break 90 at all now over the next 7 days.
  21. Sweet QPF map 7 days out. As depicted on the EC, not a forecast, the ridge influence starts to break down on Monday (would be close for the LSV as to whether Monday is still hot or not but still hot on the 0Z run) small vorts rotate into the area the rest of the week with the excessive heat gone Tuesday. Going to be quite dry by mid week next week so really rooting on the rain for selfish reasons.
  22. Yep, 58 here. Close to as good as it gets for a summer starting temp. Mid 80's over this way is going to feel warm later today.
  23. Then you are wanting the dry weather. Dp's get a little high tomorrow. 65-68. Not too shabby in the shade.
  24. The Eastern folks stole one from us. But it was not too hot at least. Another decent early summer day. Upper 50's tonight hopefully. Windows open. Hope the early week rains come to fruition.
