  1. Just north of Harrisburg is in line for a lot of rain.
  2. That is pretty gung ho. Over 1" in storms I guess.
  3. Hrrr, Nam and CMC have a weak slp slipping under us tomorrow evening. Really fires things up tomorrow evening.
  4. The really heavy stuff did go to our west and over Hagerstown. I seem some 1" estimates. I was down there when it hit and road flooding was pretty bad for a short while as it all came down in 15 min. The radar estimated total here is .21" but my gauge was between .3 and .4. I was not here to see it actually fall.
  5. We got about 1/3 to 1/2" with that first round that just passed by in the last couple hours. Bet any big rains are east of me this afternoon...which is just fine. I have had my fill the last 3 days.
  6. Some areas of Lancaster county got in excess of 5" last week. You were just a bit north.
  7. Looks like a luck of the draw type day to me but as someone (Canderson?) said the models more favor the S/W LSV though the HRR has a large area of convection come through further east over night. It is so humid I think every area gets some rain near it by this afternoon.
  8. Yea, let's get some rain today then go into a week of low humidity, Open windows at night, and electric bill savings.
  9. For me and helping someone move over in Abe, yesterday was a blessing as to the weather. You guys are talking heat and I now have a life long moving story of it staying in the 60's in the middle of June being a saving grace. Heat wise I lived in Panama for several years and nothing, even in Florida, can match that as to the oppression. During Rainy season it was as bad as it can get. But since it was close to two oceans it never really did get higher than 95.
  10. Well Euro was a tad warmer (which was almost a guarantee) but still confirms we are probably in for a great week temp/real feel wise. Only one day where the DP was above or near 60 at 18Z over the next 10 days.
  11. Pants weather wants to keep sticking its head up and saying hello.
  12. Sunday looks to be substantial for the lucky pop up cell winners.
  13. The Lancaster city area is piling up totals now.
  14. It's been several weeks of extremes temps wise.
  15. This was mentioned earlier this week but sort of amazing our forum has gone to "Hot status" pretty much every day this week coinciding with mid June GFS runs. LOL.
  16. We really needed it....not just the precip but two days with mostly cloudy skies and on and off rain. The almost 1" in 30 min yesterday was a bit too much at once. We have received more in the past two days than most of the entirety of May and June combined last year. One of the locations getting excessive rain can probably say that and it not be a big deal but we are just a bit over 2" and it still beats most May and June combined from last year.
  17. Agreed but it truly may stay pleasant most days for 2 or more weeks out. At least compared to last weekend. If you scan through the 500MB anomaly maps it is a blue for the most part until the last few days of June. Just a model forecast but no "signals" for high DP's or Temps in there.
  18. Yea, the GFS might make some over eager coldmeisters proclaim they are punting excessive summer heat until July.
  19. @Mount Joy Snowman, the radar estimated chart shows some areas of Lanco surp5ssing 6" in the last 72 hours if my screen is interpreting the colors correctly. Near Gap.
  20. @Cashtown_Coop, been a pretty steady strat like ran all morning over here...looks like you had similar for a period. We are over 2" now since it started yesterday.
  21. It's rain induced but you never break 70 next weekend if I saw right when scanning by. Only one day out of the next 10 above 80 at MDT for that long, cool period.
  22. Walk outside and need a shower again almost right away.
